Served as a RM Commando March 1944 until December 1945. Formerly served as a Royal Marine in the Far East believed with 1st RM Group, Mobile Naval Base Defence Organisation (MNBDO 1) which departed February 1941 on Convoy WS6 via Freetown, Durban, and Suez. MNBDO 1 returned to the UK March 1944.
