Corporal Ronald Batty, No.4 Commando, was wounded 19 August 1942 during operations at Dieppe, France. Sometime later he left the Commando and returned to his Regiment. Lance Sergeant Batty was killed in action serving in Italy. Son of Charles Woodrofe Batty and Fanny T. Batty; husband of Barbara Batty.
