Robert Facey 46 Commando
Marine Robert Facey died during operations at Sallenelles, Normandy. Son of Francis and Rachel Facey; husband of Freda Facey, of Pitts Hill, Staffordshire. Robert was employed before the war as a Colliery Loader (below ground). He married Freda only seven weeks prior to his death.
