Newman James Bibbey, a Printing Apprentice from London, enlisted into the Royal Marines on 26 June 1941. He joined 46RM Commando sometime after their formation in August 1943. Marine Bibbey, B troop, was taken prisoner of war on 11 June 1944 during operations at Rots and le Hamel, Normandy. Post war member of the Commando Association from Bexley, Kent.
