Kenneth Aubry Scrupps, a Butcher's Assistant from Boston, Lincolnshire, enlisted into the Royal Marines 5 June 1941. He joined 47RM Commando sometime after its formation in August 1943. Marine Scrupps was captured and a prisoner of 7 June 1944 at Normandy.
