Kenneth Grimwood, a former pupil of Moulton Grammar School, was a Postman in 1939 and residing in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. He volunteered in 1940 for the Commandos after enlisting in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and was attached to No.3 Commando. Active service in the Commandos included operations at Norway and Dieppe, France. Also served on the staff of the Commando Basic Training Centre, Achnacarry. Married Mary Burden from Fairlie, Ayrshire, in June 1942. Member of the Commando Association. Kenneth died in 1952 after several years of ill health.
