Gunner Kenneth Puttick was wounded 6 June 1944 by a 105mm shell which landed near him shattering his right leg and arm whilst digging in during action to take Bréville. He died of his wounds in the early hours of 7th June 1944 aged 19. Son of Arthur Henry and Annie May Puttick, of Braintree, Essex.
