Notes
CWGC shows 2nd Bn. QOCH with no reference to commando. Casualty Record shows secondary unit as Layforce. Layforce had in fact been disbanded towards the end of 1941 with the commandos being dispersed either to other specialist units or returned to their Regiments. The 2nd Bn. QOCH were operating in this theatre of war at the time of his death. Service Record details required to establish full details.
