Marine John Fargher died in France during operations at Beuzeville, France. Son of George Hugh and Helen Fargher, of Ulverston, Lancashire. Originally buried in Beuzeville before being re-interred on 17 October 1945 at Ranville War Cemetery. In 1939 John was employed as a Capstan Lathe Hand residing 23 Fell Croft, Dalton in Furness.
