Private Henry Donkin, 'F' troop, a veteran of Dunkirk, was shot and killed whilst engaging the enemy during operations at Flushing, Holland. Son of Henry and Hannah Donkin; husband of Annie Donkin, of Stainforth, Yorkshire. He had previously been wounded on 9 June 1944 during operations at Normandy, France.
