George Henry Annetts enlisted 19 July 1939, civil occupation Miner. He later volunteered for the Commandos. Corporal Annetts was reported missing 2 March 1943 during operations at Tunis, North Africa, later confirmed a prisoner of war. Liberated May 1945. On repatriation to the UK resided Bournemouth.
