Ernest Leonard Coleman, a Butcher's Assistant from Lowestoft, enlisted 13 December 1939 volunteering in 1942 for the newly raised Royal Marine Commando. Marine Coleman was wounded and a prisoner of war 19 August 1942 during operations at Dieppe, France. Post war member of the Commando Association residing Eye, Suffolk.
