Marine Ted Battley 47RM Commando

Marine Edward 'Ted' Battley was wounded during the capture of Port en Bessin on 7th June but was able to return to the unit in August just before the liberation of Fecamp. Later, on 1st November 1944 he was seriously wounded during the assault on Walcheren.
