Private Charles Greig was accidentally killed in India. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission list his secondary unit as No. 3 Commando. This Commando unit never served in that theatre of war. However the 3rd Commando Brigade (Nos. 42RM and 44RM, and Nos.1 and 5 Army Commandos) did serve there.
