1942/43 Private, 5 troop, ‘A’ Section, No.1 Sub Section, No.3 on the Bren gun; billeted 61 Mill Street, Ayr, before deployment overseas; next of kin brother; home address 15 Wexford Street, Dublin; civil occupation Hotel Porter. Remained with the Commando until disbandment at the end of the war. Final rank Sergeant. Member of the Commando Association. Emigrated to Australia, married Eileen,  2 children, Catherine and Peter.
