Lance Sergeant Alfred Walker died during operations at Flushing, Holland. He was fatally wounded by a shell which burst on the Oranje Molen promontory while marshalling prisoners into loading parties. He had been wounded three times previously in his service. Son of William Henry and Mary Ellen Walker, of Liverpool; husband of Mary Walker, of Liverpool.
- 19 August 1942 wounded during operations at Dieppe, France.
- 9 June 1944 wounded during operations at Normandy France.
- 20 August 1944 wounded during operations at Normandy, France.
