Sergeant Alexander Milne was reported missing 6 June 1943 after a raid to destroy a radar station on Lampedusa Island in the Mediterranean Sea (Operation Buttercup), later confirmed killed in action, whilst serving in 'Z' Special Boat Section. He has no known grave. Previously served in No.6 Commando 101 Troop. Nephew of Catherine Robertson, of Keith, Banffshire.
Also took part in Operation Reservist at Oran Harbour, November 1942.
