Albert George Moore from Pimlico, London, enlisted into the Armed Forces on 8 March 1937. Rifleman Moore, No.3 Commando, was reported missing 19 August 1942 during operations at Dieppe, France, later found to be prisoner of war. His brother Sidney Henry Moore served in No.8 Commando. Post war member of the Commando Association from Harrogate, Yorkshire. 'Rocky' Moore died whilst attending a remembrance week commando gathering in Scotland.
