Ronald Clarke CBTC
25 August 1945 awarded the Pentathlon Medal as the best all round commando trainee on No.21 Intake Course at the Commando Basic Training Centre, Achnacarry. Served in the Commandos until 6 February 1946 during the period when the Army Commandos were being disbanded. Member of the Commando Association. Resided in Newport until 1964 when he emigrated to Australia with his wife June and three children.
