Enlisted 21 July 1943, trade on enlistment Storekeeper (stationary) and Musician. Prisoner of War 11 April 1945 Lake Comacchio, Italy. Held in transit until 23 April 1945 when, after being marched into a field at Revere, Italy, they overpowered their guards after sighting American troops.
