29.07.1944 Officer Cadet commissioned Second Lieutenant.
__.02.1947 to Army Reserve List. Later resumed his service in the Metropolitan Police attaining the rank of Detective Sergeant.

Notes
Medal Card of campaign stars follows that of the theatres of war of No.3 Commando until July 1944 when commissioned. He also has the Burma Star and may possibly have accompanied Lt. Col. Peter Young who was posted from No.3 Commando to 3 Cdo.Bde. In the Far East in Oct.1944.
