Cyril Lima No.2 Commando 5 Troop
Cyril Lima was a Shop Assistant from Liverpool 10 prior to enlisting 23 April 1940 into the Liverpool Scots. He immediately volunteered for the Independent Companies and was posted to No.4 Independent Company. Served in No.2 Commando from its formation under Lt. Col. Newman February 1941 until the army commandos were disbanded after the end of the war. Whilst No.2 Commando were in Ayr before deployment overseas he was the Corporal of No.3 Sub-Section of 'B' Section, 5 Troop, and billeted at 7 Oswald Place, Ayr.
