John Joseph Derbyshire, an Insurance Agent from Wigan, enlisted on 17 April 1940. Corporal Derbyshire, No.3 Commando, was reported missing 19 August 1942 during Operation Jubilee at Dieppe, France, later confirmed prisoner of war. Post war member of the Commando Association.
