Massive sea search for 3 marines - Three Royal Marine Commandos are missing—feared drowned—after their rowing boat capsized near Plymouth early today. A fourth Marine struggled ashore to raise the alarm. A massive sea search was mounted for the missing men, who were from the 45th Commandos, Royal Marines. The destroyer Cavalier, heading home from duty in the Far East, was ordered to join in the search. At first light, three helicopters joined an armada of searching ships. A Royal Navy spokesman at Plymouth said the four Marines were rowing back from Cawsand Bay, near Plymouth Sound.
