Mne. Flannagan. 'X' troop, was killed during operations at Walcheren. He died whilst his troop were providing supporting fire and cutting wire defences during an assault on a gun battery along the dunes at Westkapelle.

nb. on one of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission online documents his first name is shown as John.
