Marine Thomas Robson died of accidental drowning at Kowloon whilst deployed to Hong Kong. He was attached to HM Motor Fishing Vessel 1044 at the time. He had previously received a Mention in Despatches for "outstanding service while operating with the Allied Armies in Italy."

Notes
Commando Unit as per CWGC entry. The title was redesignated to 45 Commando RM this year.
His MiD is believed to have been whilst he was serving in either 40 or 43RM Commando.
