Marine John Parkinson died during operations at Normandy, France.
Son of Archibald and Ivy Florence Parkinson, of Brighton, Sussex.
In 1939 he was employed as a drilling machinist (electrical fittings), single, and residing with his parents at 48 Wiston Road, Whitehawk, Brighton.
