Gunther Max Frank, a German national, was killed in action during operations at Normandy on D Day. He served under an alias of George Mack Franklyn in 3 troop, also known as 'X' troop, of the inter allied commando. Son of Ernest J. and Carla Franklyn, of Huddersfield.
