Otto Hess was a German national who served in 3 troop, also known as 'X' troop, of the inter allied commando under the alias of Peter Giles. Reported missing on or shortly after 1 October 1944 later presumed killed in action. Posthumously granted the King's Commendation for Brave Conduct.
