Lieutenant Derek Dutton died in the UK on 17 June 1944 of wounds inflicted at Normandy, France, on 10 June 1944. Son of Charles Frederick and Dorothy Isobel Dutton, of Purley.
His brother, Lieutenant Charles Llewellyn Dutton, 40RM Commando, died 14 days earlier.
