Grave of Capt Leaphard 6 Commando
Captain Marshall Leaphard, 1 troop, was reported wounded and missing, later confirmed killed in action, during operations in Holland. At the time of his death his Commando were engaged in operations in the area of Heide Wood near Brachterbeek. His brother, Major Clark Edmond John Leaphard, also served in 6 Commando and survived the war.
