Private Edward Connor was killed in action during operations at Normandy, France. He has no known grave. Son of Edward and Mary Connor.
Extract from the Edinburgh Evening News 7 July 1944.
"Private Edward Connor (19), Royal Scots Commando, has been killed in action in N.W. Europe. He was formerly employed by Henley Cable Company and was the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Connor and nephew of Mrs. M. Lamont, 96 Leith Street, Edinburgh."
