Lieutenant John Pegrum 40RM Commando
Lieutenant John Pegrum died 11 April 1945 during operations at Lake Comacchio, Italy.
Served in 'Q' Troop in Corfu, January 1945.
Son of George William Pegrum, and of Ethel May Pegrum, of Setch, Norfolk.
Prior to military service John worked for the Westminster Bank, London Berners Street branch. He is commemorated on the bank war memorial at NatWest, London Dean Street branch.
