Lieut. Burrows, 'Y' troop, was killed whilst administering morphia to a wounded marine during operations at the River Aller.  This was during the period his Commando were engaged in operations at the River Aller in the vicinity of the village of Hademstorf.  He received a MiD for good service with the 21st Army Group.
