Killed in action or died of wounds
Captain Roderick Mackenzie MC, 'X' troop, died of wounds from enemy mortar fire during operations at Walcheren. He died in hospital in Belgium. He had earlier been awarded the MC for "gallant and distinguished services while operating with the Army during the successful landings in Normandy."
