Gunner Edward Cox was killed in action during operations at Scaletta, Sicily. He was initially buried on a terrace on the Shore side of the road at the North end of the beach North of Scarlett a. Son of Herbert and Louise Cox, of Blackpool, Lancashire; husband of M. (Peggy) Cox, of Blackpool.
