Private Francis Kelly was killed during the action at St Nazaire [1]. He was one of the commando contingent on MGB 314 [2].
 
Francis Kelly, from Dovecot in Liverpool, was initially reported as missing in action. He was a bricklayer before enlisting and had taken part in the earlier Vaagso raid in Norway [3].
