Corporal Hubert Jones, No.1 Commando, was killed in action during operations at Kangaw, Burma. Son of Benjamin Hubert and Gladys Jones, of Bishopston, Glamorgan.
  • 1 May 1939 enlisted Royal Engineers.
  • 22 May 1940, Sapper in No.2 Independent Company, slight shrapnel wound to his back during operations with the North Western Expeditionary Force in Norway (Scissors Force). Admitted to 22nd General Hospital. Discharged from hospital 1 June 1940.
