This page provides information about future Commando Veterans events, and yearly traditions.
Fort William, 7th to 12th November 2007
Each year over the weekend of remembrance Sunday WW2, post War, and present day Commandos and their families and friends gather at Spean Bridge’s famous Commando memorial to remember their passed comrades.
Ex-Commando’s travel from across the globe to attend this now world famous event.
Army, Royal Marine, and special units from all forces are represented and many former comrades are re-united for the first time at this emotional service.

1100 - 1800: Day trip by train to Mallaig, lunch and visit to Heritage Centre |
| Friday 9th |
0930 - 1200: Morning coach trip to Grounds of Achnacarry and Museum |
| 1330 - 1630: Annual visit to Lochaber High School |
| Saturday 10th |
1300 : Presentation of Certificates to Highland Cadets and AGM Draw at Nevis Centre |
| 1600 : Commando Veterans Association Annual General Meeting at Alexandra Hotel |
| 1900 : Dinner with Dance Band in Alexandra Hotel |
| Sunday 11th |
1000 : Parade Fort William (form up 1040 at Viewforth Car Park) |
| 1400 : Parade Spean Bridge (Transport to Monument from Alex/Ben Nevis 1330/1340 ) |
| Monday 12th |
1000 : Farewells |
Please note: This is a suggested program and will probably change slightly in course. An updated
program with all amendments will be available and on display at the Alexandra Hotel on Wednesday 7th November.

January 31st, Elmwood Junior School
Each year representatives of the CVA attend a presentation ceremony at Elmwood Junior School Croydon to present two selected pupils with the George Knowland Certificate.
The certificate which is awarded for Selflessness and Community Spirit commemorates Lt George Knowland VC No1 Army Commando who was a former pupil at Elmwood.
