69 years ago this week No.3 Commando accompanied by 40RM Commando, and the Special Raiding Squadron, took part in the Termoli raid. The above memories of Jack Cox (No 12 and 3 Cdo) are worth a read.

Pete Rogers, son of LSgt Joe Rogers MM & nephew of TSM Ken McAllister. Both No2 Commando.
God and the Soldier, all men adore, In time of danger and not before.
When the danger is passed and all things righted, God is forgotten, and the Soldier slighted.
