Hi James,

I'm pleased the pieces of the puzzle are coming together. Perhaps in days, months or even years somebody will read these forums and add further information to yours or somebody else's search.

I have applied for some information from the pensions department and await confirmation of this

What information is this ? I was thinking the other day is there some way to get pay records for WW2 servicemen. Do you have any further details, eg a link or the address ?
Does anybody else know ?
