Captain William Goodman, Operations Officer Bravo, 40 Commando Royal Marines, received the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service for his skill and tenacity in leading the Transition Support Unit’s Operation Room in Afghanistan and ensuring that every opportunity was seized in advancing the campaign whilst remaining in relentless pursuit of insurgents, during the period 1 October 2012 to 31 March 2013.
