Gunner Thomas Pritchard died from injuries received in an accident whilst grenades were being primed on board HMS Prince Charles which was being used for night time landings. Son of John and Ena Pritchard; husband of Betty Elfreda Pritchard, of Scarborough, Yorkshire. The accident occurred late afternoon on 9 December 1941. Also killed was Lance Sergeant Horace Cartlidge.
