Private Thomas Spencer served under an alias. He was a German national born Karl Artur Stein and served in 3 Troop (aka 'X' Troop) of the inter allied commando. He was wounded on 11 April 1945 during operations with No.3 Commando at the River Aller crossing. Post war member of the Commando Association with whom they lost contact.
