Captain Samuel Corry M.B. was reported missing 19 August 1942 at Dieppe, France, later confirmed as having died of wounds. Previously Mentioned in Despatches in recognition of gallant and distinguished service against the enemy at Vaagso, Norway. Son of Samuel Corry and of Anna Corry (nee Stoupe), of Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland.
