Marine Ronald Simmons 40 Commando
Marine Ronald Simmons was taken prisoner of war during operations at Dieppe France on 19 August 1942. Before joining the Commando on its formation he had served on HMS Southampton engaged in North Sea Patrols and post war served in Palestine, rank Corporal.
