Marine Norman Maud died during operations at Sallenelles, Normandy. He was one of twenty three casualties treated at the regimental aid post for shrapnel or bullet wounds during their first four days at Sallenelles. Mne. Tatton died of wounds; Mne Maud who had been missing on patrol was killed.
