Trooper Jack Rattle was wounded 3 August 1944 during operations in France. 
Jack was a Police Constable at Aylesbury in 1941. He volunteered for the Commandos as part of the Police Intakes that commenced in 1942. Post war he resumed his Police Service at Aylesbury and was a member of the Commando Association.
