Hector Hunter 9 Commando
Corporal Hector Hunter, No.9 Commando, was wounded in Italy on 3 February 1944. His Commando were engaged in operations at Monte Ornito and Monte Faito, Italy. 
03.09.1939 enlisted Royal Scots Fusiliers later volunteering for the Commandos.
16.08.1945 attached No.4 Commando in N.W. Europe until commando disbanded in 1946.
Final rank attained Lance Sergeant.
