Captain Fredman Ashe Lincoln QC was a mine warfare expert in WW2, a commando in the Mediterranean and Germany, and one of the country’s senior lawyers after the war [1]. A member of the Bar Council,  the Board of Deputies of British Jews, the World Jewish Congress, and the World Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists [1a].
His name was amongst those found on a document discovered by Allied Forces in Berlin at the end of the war titled 'Britain, Gestapo Invasion Arrest List 1940.' Page 120, listed as Jewish and on the Anglo Ukranian Committee 1 Essex Court Temple London [2].
Acting Temporary Lieutenant Commander Fredman Ashe Lincoln, R.N.V.R. received the King's Commedation for Bravery [3].
Later attached to 30 Commando Assault Unit [7] he received a Mention in Despatches for bravery and devotion to duty [4].
21 May 1947 appointed to the Crown Office House of Lords [5]
13 November 1967 appointed Recorder of the Borough of Gravesend [6].
Post war member of the Commando Association [7].
